MIXED FRIED RICE
MIXED FRIED RICE USING PRIME CROP’S BASMATI RICE
Instructions:
- Prepare the Rice:
- Cook the Prime Crop’s Basmati Rice, ensuring the grains are long and fluffy. Let it cool completely (use leftover rice for best results).
- Cook the Protein:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or pan. Add the diced chicken and shrimp. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and the shrimp turns pink. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Scramble the Eggs:
- In the same pan, pour the beaten eggs. Scramble them lightly until cooked, then set them aside with the chicken and shrimp.


- Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
- Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan. Sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Toss in the chopped carrots, peas, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Combine Everything:
- Add the cooked chicken, shrimp, and scrambled eggs back to the pan. Mix well with the vegetables.
- Add the cooked and cooled Prime Crop’s Basmati Rice to the mixture.
- Pour the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce (if using), sesame oil, salt, and white pepper over the rice. Toss everything gently to ensure the rice is evenly coated with the sauces.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle chopped spring onions on top and mix.
- Serve the Mixed Fried Rice hot, garnished with a few extra spring onions or sesame seeds if desired.
